We stopped in for lunch, the pierogies were excellent with caramelized onions, and a tomato sauce . The restaurant is cozy and very inviting . They have a great lunch menu, and unique options to try . We had the puff pastries dough, mozzarella pie, it was very tasty and would recommend as an appetizer. We also had the khinkali , the soup dumplings was very flavorful and is served with a salad , I would definitely like to come back and try the grilled kabab. Overall a great experience . Try something different !!

We loved Leila’s! We discovered it from one of my favorite food influencers. We ordered the pierogis to start. I loved them! My husband isn’t a fan of mushrooms but I thought they were great. We got the chicken kebabs and dish of the month which was Siberian dumplings. Both delicious! The chef came out to talk to us. Overall great experience and great idea

Service was superb. We had a large group and all was taken care of with little waiting and very kind staff. The food was easy choices and even our picky eater was satisfied. The vibe was elegant, dim and comfortable. Perfect place for a date or family gathering. Food was prepared with excellent flavor and well plated. I can see why they had been recommended from local friends! Nothing was too spicy or mild. Perfectly paired with wine too

Today, I visited Leila International Restaurant for the first time and had an amazing experience. I tried their delicious hinkali, cig borek, shakshuka, and a borek similar to acharuli. I really appreciated that they offer such a variety of international dishes on Hampton Road, and they also serve halal food, which is a great touch. Everything we tasted was absolutely flavorful and well-prepared. I’m already looking forward to going back soon to try their kebabs. The Azerbaijani, Georgian, and Tatar dishes were simply outstanding. Highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys exploring diverse cuisines

Visited this restaurant with a friend, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions—we ended up taking most of it to go. Service was prompt and attentive, which added to the positive experience. As a new restaurant, there’s a sense of newness, and it’s clear they’re still settling in and finding their style, but that’s completely acceptable given the unique cuisine they offer, which is rare for our area. They don’t serve alcohol yet, but it seems they’re working on it. The only downside is the location, which is a bit inconvenient, but it’s worth the effort. Excited to see how they improve and grow. Will definitely be back!

Dinner tonight after Mamma Mia was delicious! Our waitress, Keyana, was wonderful, too. We are glad the Daily Press food reviewer recommended Leila on Granby St. In Norfolk, VA. Happy International Women's Day!

I ordered Leila’s through Grubhub because I was feeling sick and didn’t want to go out for food. They got my meal to me so quick and it was still piping hot. The beef was awesome but my favorite was the sides: Brussel sprouts, the salad. So fresh, so yummy. Highly recommend. I will try to go in person next time!
